38th Annual ASC Awards

The American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) announced the winners of the 38th Annual ASC Awards on March 3, 2024.

Don Burgess, ASC (Lifetime Achievement Award), Steven Fierberg, ASC (ASC Career Achievement in Television Award), and Amy Vincent, ASC (Presidents Award) were previously announced as awards honorees. The ASC also honored filmmaker Spike Lee with the Board of Governors Award for his significant and indelible contributions to cinema. This ASC Board of Governors honor is reserved for collaborators who are champions for directors of photography and the visual art form.

“Spike Lee is one of the most brilliant filmmakers of our time and the social impact of his work is immeasurable,” says ASC President Shelly Johnson. “This award celebrates his respect for the partnership between director and cinematographer, and how two people unite to tell a visual story in a way that can only be recognized as that of collaboration.”

The 38th Annual ASC Awards ceremony was held in person and streaming  at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.
