Prime Video, IMDb TV: Coming in April 2022

Amazon announced the films, series, and specials that will be coming to Prime Video and IMDb TV services in April 2022.

In with the new: Spring is underway, and Prime Video is refreshing your feed with all new Original content. This month Josh Brolin stars in thrilling Western Outer Range as a rancher who discovers an unfathomable mystery at the edge of Wyoming’s wilderness; Christopher Walken joins a group of seven strangers whose court-ordered community service takes a wild turn in The Outlaws; ex-lovers and CIA agents Chris Pine and Thandiwe Newton are reunited in gripping spy-thriller All The Old Knives; and animated, genre-bending dramedy Undone, starring Rosa Salazar, makes its Season 2 debut.

Pretty Hard Cases returns for season 2 on IMDb TV. The series features Meredith MacNeill of Baroness Von Sketch Show and Adrienne C. Moore of Orange Is the New Black as female detectives blending their unique skills to get the job done, whether solving crimes or sorting out their personal lives.

Prime Video and IMDb TV are expanding their streaming libraries to include Shark Tale, Armageddon, and The Spy Next Door, among several others.

All The Old Knives (2022) when the CIA discovers one of its agents leaked information that cost more than 100 people their lives, veteran operative Henry Pelham (Chris Pine) is assigned to root out the mole from among his former officemates at the agency’s Vienna station. His investigation takes him from Austria to England to California, where he is reunited with his one time colleague and ex-lover Celia Harrison (Thandiwe Newton). The pair are forced to blur the lines between profession and passion in this riveting tale of global espionage, moral ambiguity and deadly betrayal. Bang Bang Baby (2022) is a crime drama set in Milan in the late ‘80s which tells the story of a shy, insecure teenager, Alice (Arianna Becheroni) who becomes the youngest member of a criminal organization, not for money, ambition or the desire of power, but to win the love of her father (Adriano Giannini). The new Italian Amazon Original unscripted series is created by Andrea Di Stefano, directed by Michele Alhaique, Margherita Ferri, Giuseppe Bonito, and written  by Andrea Di Stefano, Valentina Gaddi and Sebastiano Melloni, and features Arianna Becheroni, Adriano Giannini, Antonio Gerardi, Dora Romano, Lucia Mascino and Giuseppe De Domenico. Episodes 1-5 streaming April 28, part 2 set to premiere in May 2022

I Love America (2022) is about Lisa (Sophie Marceau), a single woman, who decides to take a chance on love again by catapulting her life from Paris to Los Angeles. Her children flew the coop and her famous, yet absent mother just passed, so Lisa needs a big change. She reunites with her best friend Luka (Djanis Bouzyani), who found success in America but is struggling to find his own prince charming. Undone (2022) is a half-hour, genre-bending, animated dramedy that explores the elastic nature of reality through its central character, Alma, a twenty-eight-year old living in San Antonio, Texas. After getting into a car accident and nearly dying, Alma finds she has a new relationship to time. She develops this new ability in order to find out the  truth about her father’s death. Danielle Solzman is native of Louisville, KY, and holds a BA in Public Relations from Northern Kentucky University and a MA in Media Communications from Webster University. She roots for her beloved Kentucky Wildcats, St. Louis Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, and Boston Celtics.
