Freaky Friday Marks 20th Anniverary

Freaky Friday, the Disney classic starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, marks the 20th anniversary since its theatrical release. Fans will be happy to know that a sequel is in development with Elyse Hollander penning the script. However, any writing or rewriting of the script is on hold because of the current WGA strike. Haunted Mansion Is Mostly Forgettable

Haunted Mansion is the newest film to adapt a Disney ride for the big screen but this comedy is too long and fails to deliver the laughs. After having so much fun watching Jungle Cruise in 2001, it pains me to see that the fun is missing in their newest attempt to bring a theme park attraction to the big screen. There’s no reason that this film needed to be over two hours long. Rather…

Everything Everywhere All At Once Insults Jews

Everything Everywhere All At Once is an otherwise hysterical sci-fi action adventure but reduces a character to an antisemitic stereotype. I’ll get to the antisemitic stereotype in a few. Take this away from the film and it’s very entertaining. There are moments in the film that had me falling out of my chair from laughter.
