Horizon Line, a thriller starring Allison Williams and Alexander Dreymon, is now available for audiences to watch on Blu-ray and DVD.

After releasing in Swedish theaters last November in Sweden, STXfilms relased the adventure thriller through VOD retailers on January 12, 2021.  Following the initial home entertainment window, audiences will also be able to watch the film on Epix.

After far as I can tell from looking through Mikael Marcimain’s film credits on IMDB, this is also his first feature film made completely in the English language.  Screenwriters Josh Campbell and Matthew Stuecken were also the writers behind 2016 feature film 10 Cloverfield Lane.  The film counts The Shallows director/producer Jaume Collet-Serra among its executive producers.

Synopsis

Former couple Sara (Allison Williams) and Jackson (Alexander Dreymon) board a single-engine plane for a routine and casual flight to their friend’s tropical island wedding. However, within minutes of takeoff, their pilot suffers a fatal heart attack, leaving them with no idea where they are, and no clue how to land the plane. With nothing but miles of ocean and sky in every direction, and a terrifying storm that’s about to envelop them, Sara and Jackson have only one shot — and there’s no going back.
