Birds of Prey now on Blu-ray, DVD

(L-r) MARY ELIZABETH WINSTEAD as Huntress, MARGOT ROBBIE as Harley Quinn, ROSIE PEREZ as Renee Montoya, ELLA JAY BASCO as Cassandra Cain and JURNEE SMOLLETT-BELL as Black Canary in Warner Bros. Pictures’ “BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN),” a Warner Bros. Pictures release.

Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is now available for fans to buy or rent on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital.

Given that Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn was the best thing in DC’s Suicide Squad, it was only natural that the character would be given a spin-off.  Jared Leto doesn’t come back to reprise his role from the film’s predecessor.  In fact, there character is only alluded to rather than seen.

While DC has had its ups and downs since starting up the DCEU, this film is one of the more entertaining installments.

Synopsis

When Gotham’s most nefariously narcissistic villain, Roman Sionis (Ewan McGregor), and his zealous right-hand, Zsasz (Chris Messina), put a target on a young girl named Cass (Ella Jay Basco), the city is turned upside down looking for her. Harley (Margot Robbie), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez)’s paths collide, and the unlikely foursome have no choice but to team up to take Roman down.
