Disney+: What’s New in March

Disney+

A number of films and television series are being added to Disney+ throughout the month of March including Marvel’s Black Panther.

Disney+ is the streaming home for shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more, alongside exclusive Disney+ Originals.

Almost two years to the date since the world premiere of Fast Color at SXSW in 2018, Julia Hart’s newest feature, Stargirl, will launch exclusively on the streamer.  Based on a novel by Jerry Spinelli, the script is written by Kristin Hahn and Julia Hart & Jordan Horowitz.  The film stars Grace VanderWaal, Graham Verchere, Karan Brar, Maximiliano Hernandez, Darby Stanchfield, and Giancarlo Esposito.

Ahead of March, Star Wars: The Clone Wars will start its epic season seven run on February 21, 2020.  The season got its first tease last April during Star Wars Celebration.  This month also sees the series premiere of Shop Class, launching on February 28, 2020.

March will also see the season finale of Diary of a Future President and Marvel’s Hero Project. The season finales will start streaming on March 20, 2020.

If you’re in Chicago, you have the opportunity to attend the world premiere of Marvel’s Storyboards during C2E2.  Joe Quesada will be on hand for a Q&A.  The series is described as Quesada exploring “the origin stories and inspirations of storytellers of all mediums, backgrounds, and experiences at their favorite spots throughout New York City and beyond.”
