Fast Color arrives on Blu-ray

Fast Color finally arrives home on Blu-ray and DVD over a year after its premiere during the 2018 SXSW Film Festival and a limited theatrical release.

There’s a lot to be said about Fast Color‘s super-limited theatrical release.  Suffice it to say, the theatrical release was very disappointing.  For a film that I highly recommended, it’s certainly sad when it’s screening in under 30 theaters.  I talked up this film a lot upon the theatrical release in April as short-lived as it would turn out to be.  On a personal note, it never opened in my hometown.  While I could go on and on, it would just be sounding like a broken record.  What I can definitely tell you is that there’s an excellent film that you can bring home today!  The film was released on digital last month.  If you have yet to see this film, I highly recommend doing so now that it’s available to a wider audience!

As far as bonus content goes, the fare is on the light side as is typically the case for indie films.  The film features an audio commentary husband-and-wife screenwriters Julia Hart and Jordan Horowitz.  Hart directed this amazing feature while Horowitz produced.  The cast includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Lorraine Toussaint, Saniyya Sidney, Christopher Denham, and David Strathairn.

Fast Color will certainly be a solid addition to anybody’s film collection.
