C2E2 2019: John Francis Daley talks Freaks and Geeks

Freaks and Geeks star John Francis Daley spoke with Solzy at the Movies while on the red carpet just before the special screening of Stuber during SXSW.

Twenty years ago this September, Freaks and Geeks would make its premiere on NBC.  More than a few months later, the series would sadly come to an end.  The legacy of the Paul Feig-created series–executive produced by Judd Apatow–lives on to this day.  For more on that legacy, check out Freaks and Geeks: The Documentary.

Two of the series stars, John Francis Daley and Martin Starr, are coming to Chicago for a spotlight panel on the main stage from 3:15-4:15 PM on Friday afternoon during C2E2.

What should fans expect from the panel?  I asked John Francis Daley this very question when I was on the red carpet last week prior to a special screening of Stuber at SXSW.

“Martin to say something inappropriate and me to laugh it off,” Daley told Solzy at the Movies while on the red carpet last week.

In addition to their panel, both John Francis Daley and Martin Starr will take photos (Daley, Starr, team-up) or table selfies and sign autographs with fans all weekend.  Please make sure to check the C2E2 site for pricing.

C2E2 takes place at the South Building at the McCormick Place from March 22-24, 2019. Freaks and Geeks: The Complete Series is currently available on Blu-ray.
