C2E2 2019: First Wave of Guests Announced

Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2)

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Clark Gregg is among the first entertainment guests announced to headline Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) 2019 at McCormick Place.

Entertainment guests announced at the moment include Gregg, John Barrowman, Summer Glau, Christopher Sabat, and Sean Schemmel.

On the comic book front, the early guests include Jason Aaron, Russell Dauterman, Matt Wilson, Eve L. Ewing, Ed McGuiness, Kevin Nowlan, George Perez, and Marc Silvestri.

More guests are sure to be announced as the day moves closer to the weekend in March.  Unlike last year, there are no major conventions in Chicago competing for guests.  Most importantly, ReedPop moved up the con.  In doing so, they avoided conflicts with other major cons.

Tickets for the entire 3-day weekend are currently available for $75.  Individual tickets for each day of the weekend run $30-45.  For more information on badges, please click here.

While tickets are currently on sale, fans have the opportunity to purchase the C2E2 Holiday Bundle.  This includes the chance to buy limited edition merchandise–including a C2E2 10th Edition T-Shirt, a C2E2 Pint Glass and a print of their new mascots, the Chicago S.T.A.R.S.  In order to take advantage, convention goers must order by November 30, 2018.

McCormick Place is going to be busy for fans between March and April.  This is because Star Wars Celebration will follow a few weeks later.

C2E2 2019 runs March 22-24, 2018 in the South Building at McCormick Place.
